Growing Up Too Fast

Zoey is growing up so fast (as all kids do)! We had to put her rail up all the way on her crib today because she kept trying to pull herself over it. She has 2 teeth, the first one came in 2 weeks ago and the second one came in last week. She doesn't have any desire to crawl, but tries to walk all the time! She will walk along furniture and loves it when we hold her hands and let her walk around the room. She makes lots of noises in an attempt to talk, and will often say "num num" when she is hungry. "Num num" means she is hungry for mush, not the bottle. She tries to feed herself and often times grabs the spoon when I try to feed her. She sure makes a mess when she feeds herself though! Her favorite game is peek-a-boo, and plays it all the time with us. She used to like us to hide our face and say peek-a-boo, but now she likes to be the one to hide. She likes to pull the blanket over her head and hides and then pulls the blanket down so we can see her and say peek-a-boo. It is so fun to watch her learn and grow

Such a cute age! Sounds like she will be one of those kids that just skip crawling and go straight to walking:)

She looks just like you, Rachel. What a big beautiful smile. Jacob only crawled for two weeks before he stood up and walked straight across the living room. He was only 8 1/2 months old. He hasn't slowed down since.
